There’s this moment while you’re single when you experience the “nothingness” aspect of it. The side where you don’t particularly like anybody romantically and nobody particularly likes you either romantically. Even when you don’t have expectations about someone, somehow they still manage to disappoint you in some way. Funny how that works. Subconsciously you’re still expecting the person you thought they were instead of being open to the person that they really are.
